The IEEE PES Eco-Entrepreneurship Competition was initiated in response to a recurring challenge expressed by many students: the difficulty of transforming engineering ideas into real projects due to a lack of financial awareness and feasibility planning. While students often possess strong technical knowledge and innovative ideas, they frequently struggle with estimating project costs, evaluating economic viability, and understanding how to position their ideas within a real-world context. This gap limits their ability to move from concept to implementation, causing many promising ideas to remain undeveloped.

As part of its structured recruitment process for the 2026 season, IEEE Zagazig Student Branch (IEEE-ZSB) organized a comprehensive Group Discussion phase, serving as the first filtration stage to select potential volunteers. This stage was carefully designed to evaluate candidates in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where participants engage in meaningful discussions, exchange perspectives, and work together to solve problems within a limited timeframe.

The IEEE-ZSB Development Program is a comprehensive internal training initiative designed to equip members with essential soft skills that complement their technical expertise. Through a carefully planned series of interactive workshops and sessions, the program aims to enhance critical abilities such as effective communication, leadership, time management, and professional networking. It also covers practical career-building skills like CV writing, personal branding, and LinkedIn optimization. By fostering these competencies, the program not only strengthens members' contributions within IEEE-ZSB but also prepares them for success in future academic, professional, and personal endeavors.

IEEE-ZSB participated in the Autonomous Track of the EVER V 2024 Electric Vehicle Rally, held in El Alamein, showcasing innovation in AI and autonomous vehicle simulation.

Knowva proudly secured second place in the Language Learning Platforms track at Hackathon Banha 2025. After four intense days of dedication, collaboration, and tireless effort, our team successfully developed and presented a compelling concept that showcased innovative ways to demonstrate the role of artificial intelligence in language education. We explored how AI can be effectively integrated into learning processes to enhance engagement, personalization, and accessibility.

As part of its commitment to building a strong, capable, and impactful team, IEEE Zagazig Student Branch (IEEE ZSB) organized a comprehensive Leadership Development Program (LDP) for the 2026 season. This program was designed as a series of interactive sessions and workshops aimed at developing the skills of both the board and Internal Board members, ensuring they are fully equipped to lead, inspire, and support volunteers throughout the season.

Our team, Penguins, proudly participated in the MATE ROV Egypt Regional Competition at AASTMT and achieved remarkable success, winning 3rd Place in the Pioneer Class among teams from across Egypt, along with the Best Team Spirit and Best Marketing Display awards. This accomplishment came after three months of dedicated effort, with 28 committed engineering students from various departments working together with high levels of passion, collaboration, and perseverance.

Our IEEE RAS chapter sent five teams to the prestigious Robotiva competition, and all five teams made it to the finals! With SOUL winning 1st place and Intellibots securing 2nd, RAS once again proved that dedication, teamwork, and relentless learning lead to excellence. This victory isn't just a trophy—it's a statement of what we stand for.
